Governance Sustainability
UQUIFA Group’s Commitment to a Governance Sustainability
At UQUIFA Group, integrity is more than a principle — it is the foundation of everything we do. Our Compliance Programme reflects this core value through clear policies and procedures that guide our daily operations. These tools help ensure that we conduct business ethically, transparently, and in line with international standards, building trust both internally and externally.
Central to this programme is our Code of Ethics and Conduct, which outlines the behaviours and values expected across the organisation. It is not just a document — it is a practical guide for decision-making, helping us act responsibly in every business situation. By promoting a culture based on respect, honesty, and accountability, we strengthen our internal cohesion and reputation in the global market.
In support of this, UQUIFA has developed complementary policies such as the Ethical Management Policy and the Third-Party Code of Conduct. These extend our ethical expectations beyond our employees and directors, applying them to all external collaborators and suppliers. We believe that ethics must be present across our entire value chain.
We also prioritise open and safe communication. Through the Ethical Channel, individuals can raise concerns, ask questions, or report potential breaches of our Code. All submissions are handled confidentially and with the guarantee of non-retaliation, encouraging a transparent and secure environment for ethical dialogue.
Our commitment to integrity includes a firm stance against corruption and conflicts of interest. The Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Conflicts of Interest Policy outlines clear conduct rules for all employees, officers, and partners, based on a zero-tolerance approach. This policy ensures compliance with all applicable legislation and reinforces our duty to act honestly in every jurisdiction where we operate.
Additionally, we proactively address actual or potential conflicts of interest, requiring all individuals in the organisation to prevent, disclose, or eliminate situations that may compromise impartiality. This proactive approach supports better decision-making and safeguards our corporate values.
Our Board of Directors leads by example, ensuring that ethical principles are embedded in UQUIFA’s strategy and day-to-day operations. With the support of compliance systems and continuous improvement, we work to prevent misconduct and strengthen our corporate governance model.
Through this comprehensive Compliance Programme, UQUIFA demonstrates its long-term commitment to responsible business conduct. We foster trust, accountability, and sustainability across all levels of our organisation and stakeholder relationships.
