Qualified Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
He has been in the Fine Chemistry and Pharmaceutical sectors for a decade. Prior to Uquifa, he has been in the Investment Management industry for eight years.
Joined Uquifa in 2014 and leads the enterprise since 2022.
Technology toolbox expansion, customer centricity, and GMP Compliance are areas of focus for him as a fresh strategy of 3P's (Products, Plants and People) is established at UQUIFA.
Saurabh is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO)’s Barcelona chapter, a global network of young chief executives and business leaders.
Santosh Varalwar

Management Graduate and he is the driving force behind the phenomenal growth of Vivimed Labs Limited.
Joined Vivimed Labs Ltd in 1991.
His working experience in Shipping Corporation of India helped him subsequently to focus on international marketing.
In the years 2008 and 2009 under his leadership, the Company successfully acquired two overseas companies namely James Robinson Europe Limited (now Vivimed Labs Europe Limited, UK) and Har – Met International Inc, US., in November 2011.
Ankesh Bhansali

M.B.A from Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, MS (Finance) and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Joined OrbiMed Advisors in 2015.
He is an Executive Director of Orbimed on the Asia team.
Prior to joining OrbiMed, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of IDFC Securities in Mumbai where his deal coverage included M&A and capital market transactions in pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector.
Sunny Sharma

M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana where he was awarded the Vipin Khanna Memorial Gold Medal for graduating as the best intern.
Joined OrbiMed Advisors in 2008.
Prior to joining OrbiMed, He was with Investor Growth Capital (IGC), the investment arm of Investor AB in North America, and before that with Easton Capital in New York.
Earlier in his career, he worked in the healthcare investment banking group of Lehman Brothers in London, and before that he practiced medicine in northern India.

Pilar Valle
Chief Financial Officer
Bachelors in Economics and Business Administration and masters in International Accounting Standards. Business Executive Program of Advanced Management and Global Growth Business Strategies.
She has been with Uquifa since 1999.
Close to 25 years of experience in the Finance, Accounting, Taxation and Control functions. Responsible for rolling out a fresh approach to the digitalisation and people strategy of the enterprise.
Prior to Uquifa, Pilar has about 7 years of experience as a statutory auditor of manufacturing companies with Arthur Andersen.
Alfred Pascual
Corporate Manufacturing Operations Director
Organic Chemistry degree by the University of Barcelona and a Directive Development Program by IESE Business School – University of Navarra.
Rejoined Uquifa in 2023.
Alfred has more than 30 years of experience in Pharma/APIs companies as Uquifa, Esteve, Sandoz, Uriach and more recently Derivados Químicos (Olon Group). His experience is mainly based on Operations, starting from Production Technician roles to Managing and Direction roles.
He is problem solving oriented and gives a lot of importance to team building and communication between departments.
Miguel Ángel Maceda
General Manager & Chief Operating Officer – Uquifa México S.A. de C.V.
Industrial Engineer with an experience of 30 years in Operations, and Supply Chain.
Over 20 years with in different chemical companies and a track record of multi-function responsibility, culminating with general leadership of the Mexican business unit.
Joined Uquifa Mexico in 2019.
Péter Ács
General Manager & Chief Operating Officer – Soneas Chemicals Ltd.
MSc degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Economics.
Joined Soneas in 2021.
He has 20 years’ experience in the Chemical Industry.
He has worked in Operations as Production Manager, in Supply Chain Planning, in Product Management and has IT project experience with implementation of Business Applications.
Most recently Péter has worked at PPG Industries as an EMEA R&D Director, leading teams in Hungary, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, the UK, Romania, and Poland.
