Metformin HCl – New Approval PMDA Japan

UQUIFA Mexico has received a new approval from the Japanese Agency PMDA (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency) for the commercialization of our product Metformin HCl EP, which is aligned to the European pharmacopoeia.
This approval gives us greater flexibility for the supply of Metformin HCl thanks to the harmonization of quality standards in the Japanese market and at the same time the production of this API in Uquifa Mexico will be more efficient since the same process can be supplied to different countries.
